Billing alerts notify you when your Laravel Cloud organization’s spend reaches a set amount.
The alert amount is set per monthly billing cycle. Notifications are gradual, alerting you when your organization’s spending reaches 50%, 80%, and 100% of the spend amount.
Setting a billing alert does not automatically stop usage. Spending will continue to accrue past your set amount unless you take action.
Enabling billing alerts
To enable billing alerts, go to your Organization -> Usage -> Alerts, and enter a value.
In this example, you would receive a notification when your organization’s spend reaches $50, $80, and $100.
Laravel Cloud sends billing alerts via email to the organization’s admins and billing contact by default. You may also enable Slack to receive notifications in a channel of your choice.
To disable billing alerts, you can remove the value from the field or go to Organization -> Settings -> Notifications and turn ‘Monthly spend alerts’ off.
